Message from our President

More than 100 years ago tremendous resources were committed to a unique environment we know as downtown.  Today, we have an opportunity to be a part of an equally valuable investment in our community.  We now need your energy and enthusiasm so all of us can enjoy the benefits of an attractive and vibrant downtown.

A reality is taking shape.  The most prominent feature of renewal in our downtown landscape is the MSU Riley Center for Education and Performing Arts.  Hopefully, the plans to rehabilitate the 3 Foot building into a luxury hotel with specialty shops and restaurants will be underway in the near future.

On behalf of the officers and members of the Meridian Downtown Association, please accept our invitation to join our group.  Let's participate together as we witness the revitalization of the downtown district.

I encourage you to be part of this experience.  We are just getting started.

President, Meridian Downtown Association
