Fun But
Important
Facts:

If half of the employed population spent $50 per month supporting locally-owned, independent businesses, more than $42.6 billion in revenue would be generated.
For every $100 spent
in locally-owned,
independent
businesses,
$68 returns to the community through
taxes, payroll, and
other expenditures.
When the same
amount is spent
supporting national
chains, only $43 is returned.  If the same amount is spent online, nothing is returned.
